  • Almost 70 participants at the Ludwig Bölkow Campus Roadshow

    25 July 2017 - In collaboration with the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and the association bavAIRia, LBC GmbH and Munich Aerospace invited SMEs and research institutions across Bavaria to the so called Ludwig Bölkow Campus Roadshow event. The purpose of this gathering was to present LBC activities to a broad audience in order to attract further companies and research institutions to join the LBC. Several research projects conducted on the LBC were showcased, and selected companies based on LBC delivered a pitch about their activities. The event has been highly appreciated by almost 70 guests. A follow-up action is planned in fall this year.[ more... ]

    Around 120 invited guests attended the Munich Aerospace Summer Summit "Green Aerospace" at the Ludwig Bölkow Campus between 26 and 28 June. International science, research and industry experts explored the topic "Green Aerospace" from multiple perspectives and discussed possible ways to reduce the ecological footprint. [ more... ]

  • Ludwig Bölkow Campus and CRIAQ have signed letter of intent

    3 April 2017 - The Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Quebec (CRIAQ) signed today a collaboration agreement (LoI) with Ludwig Bölkow Campus (LBC), a cooperation of Ludwig Bölkow Campus GmbH and Munich Aerospace e.V., (www.lb-campus.com) to significantly increase R&D collaboration in the aerospace and security sector.   • Lab Tours at UniBw Partner Event

    22 March 2017 - 15 interested members of the Munich Aerospace Research Network accepted the invitation to visit the research facilities at the UniBw campus in Neubiberg. After welcoming remarks by Munich Aerospace Executive Prof Günter Hein and a presentation on the university by the Dean of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, Prof Axel Schulte, the participants visited labs and saw demonstrations at the Institute for Flight Systems and the Institute for Mathematics and Computer Application.
